What I'm Reading

I'm on book 2 of the Hunger Games trilogy. LOVE IT! And I can't wait for the first movie to be released next year.

Patricia Cornwell is one of my favorite authors and I'm currently re-reading her entire Scarpetta series. I'm on book 16 right now..

This is the book that my Book Club on Facebook is reading. But I admit that it is taking me awhile to read as I am so engrossed in The Hunger Games trilogy. But Dick Cheney's story is a good one and one worth reading.

(I've had this book up here for several months but I haven't completely finished it yet so I will leave it here until I do.) I do love non-fiction and stories about the Ellis Island days can keep me riveted for hours. So when I saw this book in a bookstore a few weeks back, I took a picture of it with my phone and then bought the Kindle version of it later that night. It's an easy read and reads more like a novel than a nonfiction book.

In the Reading the Presidents section, after starting a book on George Washington, I gave up on it after reading about 5% of it (it was a long one) as the style of writing was not what I was looking for. My busy work schedule then got in the way and I have not started another "Presidents" book since then. But considering the current path our country is on, I find myself praying that God will send us another Ronald Reagan so the next book I read will be this one:
